Watch On Biblify

by Randy White Ministries Sunday, Sep 28, 2025

In this fifth session of the Unveiling the Unseen conference, Dr. Randy White of Taos, NM, delves into the often-misunderstood role of angels in God's redemptive plan. Titled “Ministering Spirits: The Role of Angels in God’s Plan,” this teaching offers a biblically grounded and dispensationally precise look at how angels function both in heaven and on earth, and what that means for believers today.

The video emphasizes that angels are created beings of high rank, moral responsibility, and divine purpose. From continuous, intelligent worship in heaven to active involvement in earthly events, their roles are extensive and intentional. Through scriptural references from Revelation, Daniel, Isaiah, and Psalms, Dr. White illustrates how angels worship, obey, and reflect God's glory around His throne.

On earth, angels have historically served as messengers, protectors, and agents of divine judgment—bringing news to Mary and Zechariah, guarding Israel, and executing justice in events like the destruction of Sodom and the death of Herod. Their ministry is most prominent in Israel’s program and the life of Christ, marking key events from Jesus’ birth to His ascension.

However, Dr. White challenges commonly held assumptions about angelic activity in the present Church Age. From a Mid-Acts dispensational perspective, he explains that no New Testament epistle to the Body of Christ assigns a current role to angels in believers’ lives. Instead, God has provided the armor of God, sufficient grace, and the completed Word as the believer’s present-day resources.

The session also addresses special considerations, such as the famous passage on “entertaining angels unawares” (Hebrews 13:2), which, though instructional, is shown to be specific to Israelite believers. Dr. White provides examples of angelic appearances in physical form—convincing enough to be mistaken for humans—but reminds the viewer that these occurrences are dispensationally limited and not normative for the Body of Christ today.

A fascinating segment explores the invisibility of angels, drawing parallels from physics and human perception. Through the account of Elisha’s servant in 2 Kings 6, Dr. White explains that angels may be fully physical yet unseen due to limitations in human sight or divine concealment. Just as ultraviolet and infrared light exist outside our visual range, angelic beings may exist in dimensions beyond human perception.

The conclusion is clear and thought-provoking: Angels are real, powerful, and purposeful, but their active ministry is not part of God's current work through the Body of Christ. Faith in this age is not built on sightings or signs, but on Scripture, sufficiency of grace, and spiritual discernment. Whether you're curious about angelic activity or seeking clarity on their role today, this teaching offers deep biblical insight grounded in dispensational understanding. Join Dr. Randy White as he demystifies the heavenly host and helps believers walk in truth, not tradition.
